Maintenance and care of pneumatic tools

Maintenance and care of pneumatic tools

The service life and performance of pneumatic tools depend mainly on their maintenance and care. Regular maintenance minimizes malfunctions, prevents potential hazards, extends the tool's life, and ensures its safe and efficient operation.

To effectively maintain and care for pneumatic tools, consider the following guidelines:

       1. Before using a pneumatic tool, follow the relevant operating procedures and instructions for use, avoid overloading the tool, and ensure that the tool is safe for use.
        2. To maintain the stable performance of the tool, 3-5 drops of professional pneumatic tool lubricant should be injected into the air inlet and idled for 1-2 seconds to thoroughly lubricate the internal parts before each work.
         3. Regularly check the shell of the pneumatic tool and the air supply line. When not used, the tool should be coated with anti-rust oil and a dust cover to prevent the intrusion of external pollutants, such as found in the air supply line wear, aging, corrosion, and other defects and local air leakage, bulging phenomena should be replaced immediately, so that the pneumatic tool can operate normally.
         4. When pneumatic tools are not used temporarily, they should be stored in a dry, clean environment, away from moisture and corrosive substances. They can be placed in a toolbox or a special storage box to protect the tools from collision and damage.

Routine repair and maintenance of pneumatic tools ensure that they are operating regularly and safely and improve the efficiency of the key, so it must be emphasized.
